Official Contest Entry and Pathtovermont.com Website Use Terms and Conditions.The following terms apply to the use of 2009-2010 pathtovermont.com website:

• Contest Winners and participants must be residents of USA or Canada.
• The pathtovermont.com contests, events, clues or challenges are meant to be fun and are not regulated or guaranteed to be regulated with regard to accuracy in any manner. Some contests may offer rules and guidelines that will be monitored as closely as possible by our pathtovermont.com administrators and team members. No guarantees are expressed or implied as to the validity of any contest measurement or any other verification process.
• Any prizes such as trips to Vermont resorts, ski tickets, apparel or other sponsor provided prizes will be awarded based on availability at the time of the contest and may be substituted at any time for any other prize and at any time at the sole discretion of the sponsors and partners of pathtovermont.com. Prizes are often awarded at random and may not be directly related to a contest or participation in such contests. The use of such prizes such as trips, ski-passes, or getaways or any other prizes related to visiting or traveling to Vermont and/or its resorts, partners or sponsors are available on a space available basis for the remainder of 2010. In other words, book your visit or trip as soon as you get word you won to make sure our partner resorts have not sold-out.
• Any contest award is not transferable, nor is it redeemable for cash.
• No substitution for the winner is allowed.
• All winnings are subject to state and federal taxes for the retail value of the trip or prize and the winner(s) will sign a tax form before any prize can be awarded.
• All participants in pathertovermont.com agree to have any photos, stories, or videos made available site-wide to members or non-members as pathtovermont.com sees fit.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws/regulations apply. No cash redemption, substitution or transfer of prize permitted. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/liability and a publicity release form (as permitted by law), prior to prize(s) being claimed. Pathtovermont.com recognizes that any attempts that may be made to use the website in a fraudulent manner, for personal gain or to share information or images that are not valid can not always be controlled by the administration process; however, if any user recognizes information as inaccurate, abusive or fraudulent we request him/her to please click on the “report abuse” button at the bottom of said page and notify pathtovermont.com of the URL where the apparent abuse has taken place. Pathtovermont.com will make every effort to monitor the use of the website and reserves the right to suspend or terminate any members who attempt to misuse the website or its content in any way. Acceptance of prize(s) (by responding to an e-mail or phone contact that has been provided in your account profile and agreeing to have prize(s) shipped to your mailing address) constitutes permission for sponsors and their agencies to use winner's name/likeness for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation. By participating in the 2009-2010 pathertovermont.com website, each participant agrees to release, hold harmless, and forever discharge Vermont, Ski Vermont and Cabot Creamery and all current or future website or event sponsors and their distributors, employees, directors, officers, affiliates, subsidiaries, judging agency, and/or advertising/public relations agencies from any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities, of any nature whatsoever, which they may now or hereafter assert, including but not limited to, claims for injury, death, or illness arising out of or claimed to be arising out of the aforesaid prize, participation in any contests, sharing of photos, stories or videos, use of the website or any other outcome from participation in pathtovermont.com activities.
